I am a postdoctoral research fellow in the
Department of Biomedical Informatics
at Harvard Medical School and a
member of Nils Gehlenborg's HIDIVE lab.
I recieved my Computer Science PhD at the
University of Utah in the
Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute
where I worked in the
Visualization Design Lab,
advised by
Alexander Lex.
My research interests span various data visualization challenges. I
have worked with single cell microscopy data to help researchers
improve cancer treatment, and
have investigated how visualizations can help
review tabular datasets for falsification and fabrication.
I thoroughly enjoy teaching, and have had the good fortune of being an
instructor for an Introduction to Data Structures and Algorithms
course at the University of Utah.
